Traffic Violations Attorneys Morris County, NJ
Morristown Municipal Court Lawyers Fight for Your Rights
Not only do traffic violations in New Jersey carry steep fines and surcharges, each violation has a point value associated with it — from failure to yield (two points) to tailgating (five points). Points are reported to your insurance company and will cause a dramatic increase in your premiums. If you reach 12 points of total traffic violations, it can result in license suspension.
Unlike some other states, New Jersey does not have provisional licenses which allow you to drive to and from work. Your best recourse for fighting traffic violation citations and license suspension is through experienced traffic ticket attorneys.

Point Deduction Lawyers Morris, NJ
As previously stated, accumulating 12 points will result in a license suspension. However, it is possible to have points deducted from your driving record.
In New Jersey, it is possible to have up to 3 points removed from your point total if you have not had any violations for one year, and you have completed an approved driver improvement program. This credit can be received once every two years.
It is possible to also deduct 2 points if you complete an approved defensive driving course. However, you may only reduce points in this way once every 5 years.
