New Jersey man avoids DUI with $1,600 Uber ride

With ride-sharing services like Lyft and Uber and old-fashioned cabs available throughout New Jersey, there is no excuse to drive drunk. Sadly, having safe options to get home does not stop thousands of New Jerseyites from driving drunk every year. Sometimes, one of these negligent drinkers crashes a terrible car crash in which somebody gets severely hurt.

Motor vehicle accidents: 2 dead in New Jersey crash

Camden County was the site of tragedy in the early morning of April 21, according to state troopers. New Jersey State Police have confirmed that two people were killed in a car accident on Route 42, involving two vehicles and a dump truck. As with many motor vehicle accidents involving multiple vehicles, the investigation into this crash is still underway, and no charges have yet been filed. 

Motor vehicle accidents: New Jersey man dies after head-on crash

A man believed to have been traveling the wrong way on a state route is dead and another man has been taken to a local hospital following a head-on crash on Route 130. New Jersey police have confirmed the accident happened on April 6. As with most motor vehicle accidents resulting in a fatality, this incident is still under investigation by local police in North Brunswick.
